Theatr Clwyd announces their 2018 Spring Season

Ever wondered what living in a Katie Hopkins style Britain would be like? Well, look no further. Theatr Clwyd has announced its brand new 2018 spring season programme and it features a show that.
Other shows include a 1920’s classic, a world premiere and West End tours hitting the stage at Theatr Clwyd as it leads into the new year.
Artistic Director of Theatr Clwyd, Tamara Harvey, announced 2 world premieres set to hit the stage in 2018.
Kicking off with ‘The Assassination of Katie Hopkins’, a brand new musical from Matt Winkworth and Chris Bush. All about online anonymity, free speech, celebrity and the digital world we live in. A smart, witty musical that promises to impress.
In February, The Great Gatsby comes to Mold but, with an immersive twist. This is no ordinary Theatr Clwyd production. The Dolphin pub will play host to the production across 3 floors. Previews kick off from February 22nd and the show runs until March 25th.
A new collaboration between Theatr Clwyd and the National Theatre sees Laura Wade’s new comedy ‘Home, I’m Darling’ starring the IT Crowd’s, Katherine Parkinson.
The show delves into the world of marriage and the fantasies it needs to keep it alive. Being a domestic goddess isn’t as easy as it looks… You can catch the show from Monday 25 June until Saturday 14 July.
Southampton Theatre makes its co-production debut at Theatr Clwyd with a brand new production of Tennessee Williams’ ‘A Streetcar Named Desire’. The show heads deep into the lives of Stanley and his sister-in-law Blanche DuBois.
