Look soon for thoughts on being a student and a parent with Cat.

Hi, I’m Catherine but shorten my name to Cat. As of January 2018 I am going to be doing a monthly Colum for the Egwyl magazine, so here’s just a little introduction of who I am and what I will be writing about.

So, about me, I am 33 years old, a single mum, qualified chef currently working in a bakery and also a student at Glyndwr University in Wrexham, studying foundation year Broadcasting and Journalism.

I live with three of my four children who are Chloe, aged 16, studying at Coleg Cambria Wrexham and hoping to become a firefighter in the future, Louis, who is 12, currently attending Rhosnesni High School and Mckenzie, 8 years old, and attends Alexandre C.P School. We also have two Huskies and a Labrador named Millie, Misty and Wicked and my daughter has a cat named Biebz, obviously a Justin Bieber fan!

Through this column you will read about the good and the bad days of being a single parent, trying to better herself for the sake of her kids futures. I will cover break downs, the tantrums, the achievement’s, the laughs and proud mummy moments on this journey called life. Hopefully, during this column, I will let all you mummies out there, that’s trying to juggle it all, know that your not alone and maybe I can even inspire people that if I can do it, any one can.

Also, with being a chef, I will be throwing in some quick and easy meal ideas for mums on the go and kid proof meals, maybe just some different recipes to try out. So I hope you all enjoy the read and if you want to read any more you can also take a look at my blog  jugglingitall9.
