Skylight at Theatr Clwyd
Earlier this week, Egwyl Editors, Emma Tattum and Kara Beth Davies returned to the theatre at the top of the hill, Theatr Clwyd. While they were there, they got to speak to one of the cast members of their newest production as he emerged fresh from the rehearsal room.

Starting on February 9, Skylight is Theatr Clwyd’s latest production for 2017. It comes in perfect timing after the successful run of Aladdin during the festive period.
This Olivier-winning play, written by David Hare, stars Jenny Spark, Jay Villers and Oscar Batterham, directed by Theatr Clyde’s very own Artistic Director, Tamara Harvey. It’s a play about ‘falling in love with the wrong persona and loving them just the same.’
I am very much looking forward to seeing this production and excited to be blown away by the fantastic story and the wonderful cast of which it stars. For us students, the ticket prices are very reasonably priced with under 30’s tickets for just £5, so there’s no excuses for not going to see it!
You can expect to see a review of the play here very soon!
Myself and Emma were fortunate enough to speak to Oscar Batterham about his time as an actor as well as his thoughts on this wonderful play. You can find out what happened here:
