Richard and Adam at The William Aston Hall

RICHARD AND ADAM TO PLAY NORTH WALES DATES IN THE SPRING

Richard & Adam

Classical singing brothers Richard and Adam have announced new concert at William Aston Hall, Wrexham on March 24, when fans will get the chance to see the boys at their best after last year’s shows were affected by Richard’s illness.

Richard bravely tried to soldier on through ill health during a show in Llandudno late last year, but really struggled to sing, as the sympathetic audience appreciated.

Unfortunately, the duo then had to cancel a scheduled concert in Wrexham. The brothers are therefore keen to return to give fans a proper Richard and Adam show to see the brothers live on stage.

At the time Richard and Adam said: “We’d like to apologise profusely to our continued loyal fans for letting you down. We’re incredibly devastated not to be able to perform, due to illness. We’re rescheduling for March and look forward to seeing you.”

The shows are part of a tour of their Welsh homeland by the Britain’s Got Talent finalists, who went on to break the record for holding the top spot in the 2013 Album Charts.

Richard and Adam, from Holywell, Flintshire, wowed audiences all around the world when they performed on ITV1’s Britain’s Got Talent two years ago, before releasing their debut album The Impossible Dream, which went on to spend four weeks at Number 1 in the charts - the most successful number one album since Adele in 2011, going Platinum with over 350,000 sales in the UK alone.

A follow-up Christmas album was listed as the No.1 seller on Amazon, then the brothers embarked on a sell-out UK tour, and toured again earlier this year. Their latest album At The Movies went straight into the charts at No.5 last summer, and brought career album sales to almost half a million.

The brothers have performed at many high profile events, including Radio 2 at Hyde Park, singing to an audience of 45,000. Since their success on Britain’s Got Talent, they have been raising money and awareness for many charities including Dementia UK and Cancer Research. They have performed at care homes all around the country using their love for music to inspire elderly people and people affected by illness.
